How much does a brand ambassador earn?
For an amateur athlete with 500 to 10,000 followers: the product, and sometimes an amount on top. In the industry, nano and micro profiles as ambassadors usually get product only (gifting), a retainer between €200 and €800 a month, or a 10 to 20% commission on sales through a code. The thousands of euros a month you read about online concern profiles with hundreds of thousands of followers, and a different country than Belgium.
With Sunday Squad Ambassadors you get two things per round. The product, with a retail value stated in the briefing up front, and it's yours to keep. And a fee, agreed between the brand and us and also in the briefing up front, before you say yes. Not per post, not per sale, but per round: one amount for using the product, posting about it and making the report.
What it isn't: a salary. You won't get rich from it, and if that's what you want you're better off with an agency that pays per post and demands per post too. What it is: a gel you were buying anyway, a pair of bibs you wanted anyway, and an amount on top because you did something for it. On products you already use, that's the best deal there is in sport. Do you get paid as a sportfluencer?, and whether you pay tax on free products.
