What is the difference between ambassador marketing and creator marketing?
Creator marketing is about who makes the content; ambassador marketing is about how long someone stays with your brand. They're not competitors but two axes: you can use creators for one campaign, or the same creators as ambassadors across a season.
Creator marketing (what is creator marketing) chooses people who make content from their own lives, often with a smaller but more credible audience, rather than well-known faces with reach. Ambassador marketing adds a time dimension on top: not once, but repeatedly, with an agreement.
At Sunday Squad the two coincide. Our creators are sportfluencers, amateurs who keep content from training sessions that were happening anyway. A collab is creator marketing in one drop. Sunday Squad Ambassadors is the same creators, in rounds: creator marketing with a memory. The difference with an agency that offers both: with us the ambassador group is never a new casting, it's the squad that already proved in the collab that it fits.
