🔥 The Vandal x Sunday Squad
Who The Vandal is, and what we're doing together.
For 12 years now, The Vandal has been the Belgian brand for athletes who don't leave their style in the locker room. From casual sweaters to performance tees — designed for the road, the walking path and the trail. Cycling, running, hiking: if you move outdoors, The Vandal dresses you.

Now Sunday Squad and The Vandal are joining forces to dress 25 local outdoor athletes. No script. No direction. Just you, your sport, and a Vandal outfit that shows who you are when you move.
Clothing for people who live outdoors
What you spend your shopping credit on.
The Vandal makes clothing for people who live outdoors. Every piece tells a story — from the cobbles of the Flemish Ardennes to the cols of the Tour, from an early morning run to a late gravel ride. This is not fast fashion. This is slow obsession, 100% eco & fair.

With your shopping credit you put together your own kit from the full webshop: a Flanders Tee + Flanders Sweater if you've got cobbles in your DNA, a Full Gas Hoody + Cobbles or Gravel Tee if you never do things by halves, or an Outdoor Sweater + Banana Tee if your ideal day ends with a coffee and a story. You choose the combo that fits your authentic content.
What we ask of you
The minimum — within that you're free.
At least 1 Instagram Reel or feed post + 1 Story within 2 weeks of getting your package.

  • Show how The Vandal fits into your cycling world — a Sunday ride, a gravel trip or your daily commute, whatever works.
  • Authentic beats perfect. No script, but character.

One thing we really ask
Add @sundaysquad1 as a collaborator on your feed post or Reel. Two reasons: we can help track your post's numbers, and your post also shows up on our feed.
What you get
Shopping credit, plus the chance to become a Captain.
Shopping credit across the entire The Vandal webshop. Put together your own combo — T-shirt, sweater, or a mix that suits your outdoor style. You choose.

Become a Captain?
For this collab we're looking for 5 Captains — the faces of the squad. As a Captain you get:
  • A permanent ambassador discount on the full The Vandal range
  • The expectation that you put the collab in the spotlight before you receive your package, with a reel or post
  • A chance at a Custom Collab: your own creation on a The Vandal product (max. 3 spots)

Indicate in your application whether you want to become a Captain of this squad, and whether you're interested in a Custom Collab. We select based on your profile, engagement and creativity.

Just take part?
No Captain ambition? No problem. As a squad member you receive your shopping credit, choose your own Vandal kit, and share your outdoor story. Simple.

Frequently asked questions about your content

Answers to the most frequently asked questions.

What kind of content can I make for The Vandal?

Anything where you're genuinely moving outdoors and The Vandal fits in naturally: your Sunday ride, a gravel trip, a morning run, your outfit at the coffee stop. No script — your own sport and tone. At least 1 reel or feed post + 1 story within two weeks of your package; authentic beats perfect.Read the full answer →

Can I give my honest opinion?

Yes — it's literally why you're asked. Your audience believes you precisely because you don't sound like an ad. "Sits well on long runs, less on intervals" is more credible than "best product ever". Honest does mean fair, concrete and respectful, though.Read how honesty increases the commercial value of your post →

Do I have to post every week?

No. There's no weekly schedule and no fixed number of posts per month — Sunday Squad works per collab, not per calendar. You only commit once you're selected for a collab; then you deliver a few posts within an agreed window, and after that it's done.Read what a collab commitment looks like in practice →

Frequently asked questions about this collab

Everything you need to know about this partnership.

What do I get in return for my content?

The brand's product — a gear set, race ticket, event access or exclusive drop, depending on the collab. The retail value is always set out up front in the briefing. The product is yours to keep: no return label, no expiry date.Read why the product is the reward — not a fee →

Do I get paid as a sportfluencer at Sunday Squad?

Not in cash. You get the brand's product as the reward for your content — no fee, no transfer. Cash attracts creators who monetise; product attracts creators who want to use the brand. What you get exactly is always set out up front in the briefing.Read what you concretely get in return for your content →

Do I get to keep the products after the collab?

Yes. The product is yours and stays yours — no return, no expiry. The product is the reward for your content.Read why the product is the reward — not a loan →

Do I have to pay tax on the free products?

We're not accountants. Roughly: a product or experience from an occasional collab isn't treated as salary. If it becomes structural and high in value, run it past your accountant. We always communicate the retail value up front.Read how the tax picture looks in practice →

So am I becoming a brand ambassador?

Not at all. A collab is a collab. No extension, no automatic next round, no yearly commitment. With every new collab, you decide again whether it fits.Read what does and doesn't carry over between collabs →

Why do you work in squads of 25?

Because 25 athletes posting at the same time create local saturation inside a community — something one stray post never does. It tips from advertising to "everyone around me uses this". And you don't post alone, but alongside 24 others who live the same sport.Read the full answer →
