How important is the right posting frequency in influencer content?
37% of surveyed consumers name ‘the right amount of content’ as a quality they look for in influencers. The figure does not establish one ideal number of posts, but it does confirm that both overexposure and long silence can weaken the relationship.
In an ambassador programme, frequency should therefore follow the rhythm of the product and the athlete. A daily nutrition product can appear naturally more often than a cycling helmet or sports watch. More deliverables do not automatically create more credibility.
Sunday Squad prefers clear rounds over a vague annual contract packed with monthly obligations. Brand and athlete agree what happens in each round; between rounds, only spontaneous content remains. That creates repetition without turning every post into the same sales message.
Sprout Social commissioned Cint to survey 2,000 social media users in the US and UK. The study does not define ‘the right amount’ and therefore provides no hard posting-frequency benchmark.
