Does a longer collaboration with creators get cheaper?
Usually yes: 71% of influencers offer a discount on a longer collaboration rather than one-off posts, according to a 2025 sector analysis by archive.com. The reason sits with the creator, not with your negotiating.
A one-off post means starting over every time: agreeing terms, reading a brief from a brand they don't know, working out how to use the product, and carrying the risk that their audience finds the sudden switch odd. In a longer collaboration that run-up disappears and the product becomes something they use anyway. So what the discount buys you isn't volume pricing, it's less friction.
The biggest gain isn't in the price, incidentally. An athlete running in the same shoes for three months can say something that doesn't exist after a single post: how they feel after 300 kilometres. No one-off collaboration buys you that kind of evidence.
That's why we run two formats — a collab around one moment or launch, and a longer arrangement across a season. The difference between the two is described separately.
