What is community-led growth, and how does Sunday Squad do it?

Community-led growth means a brand grows through the people who already use it, rather than through reach it buys. The community does the work: it shows the product, talks about it and brings in the next user. The brand doesn't pay per post, it invests in the group.

The term comes from software. There, community-led growth means a forum, a Discord and users answering each other's questions. In sport that community already exists and needs no forum: it rides together on Sunday. Whoever buys a shoe has first seen it on the feet of three clubmates. Whoever switches to another gel did so because someone in the group had been riding on it for a season. The decision is made in the peloton, not in the ad.

Sunday Squad builds on that in three steps you can take separately or one after the other. A collab gets 10 or 25 sportfluencers posting about your brand at the same time: a drop, one moment when a local sports community sees your product everywhere. A Sunday Squad Season repeats that three times with different athletes each time: a rhythm. Sunday Squad Ambassadors keeps the same squad and lets it carry on in rounds: a relationship. The higher up that ladder, the less reach you buy and the more you have a community carrying your brand itself. That it works without cash as the engine shows in our own numbers: 80% of the sportfluencers in our community prefer the product over a fee.

What we don't do: build a community for you on our own platform or app. The community already exists, on Strava, in the club, in the group chat of the Sunday ride. We make sure your product ends up there, with the people the rest are watching, and that it stays there. The difference between a Season and Ambassadors.
