How do you handle product shipping to the athletes?

Two options — both work, each with its own logic.

Bulk to Sunday Squad, we distribute. You send one shipment to our central address in Belgium. We distribute the products across the squad, add a Sunday Squad note card, and pass on the domestic shipping cost at cost price.

Belgian domestic shipping typically sits between €6 and €9 per package. For a squad of 25 that comes to roughly €150 to €225 total, depending on package size and weight.

Added benefit: when multiple collabs run in parallel, we can bundle products from different brands into one package per athlete. One shipment instead of three or four — for anyone who has labelled and stamped 25 packages, that's not a detail.

Direct from brand to athlete. We hand over the address list, the brand ships itself. Works well for brands that ship internationally, have their own logistics system, or where the product calls for specific packaging or delivery timing — pre-order timing, hand-signed cards, limited drops. In that case we do ask for a short Sunday Squad note to be included in the package; without that context, it's not clear to the athlete why the package is arriving.

No fixed rule. The right option depends on where you ship from, whether other collabs run in parallel, and how fast you want to move between selection and delivery. Brands often opt for bulk — less coordination, one track-and-trace, no 25 addresses to manage themselves. For ongoing programmes or international launches we tend to see the direct route.

At briefing stage we put both options on the table with a concrete cost estimate, so the brand decides based on numbers, not on gut feeling.
